The Innovative Fashion Council is hosting its next cocktail party and networking event this coming Monday, February 2nd from 6-9PM at Temple in San Francisco. Trend forecaster Marieke van der Poel, San Francisco and North Pacific consultant for Peclers Paris will share colors, inspiration and material directions for Spring 2010. Peclers Paris is an internationally leading trend forecasting company that has been guiding the fashion and design industry for over thirty years. Designers and fashion trend enthusiasts should not miss this presentation - the ultimate tool for reliable trend stories, new colors and sources of inspiration.
This event is also very special in that Temple SF is an entirely green nightclub. Some ways that Temple is bringing green to the party include making all of their events "low to no waste," retrofitting all lighting to be more energy efficient, and recycling/composting all foods and liquids. Temple is currently working on plans to install a geodesic dome on the roof to grow food for their restaurant Prana and also a way to harness energy from movement on the dance floor. Overall, Temple's vision is to create an eco-conscious "edu-tainment" complex that works within the community to create the greatest positive impact and limit our negative impact on the planet.
The trend seminar begins at 6:30PM sharp with a cocktail after-party from 7:30-9PM. This event is being sponsored by Temple, Perkins Coie, Vehicle SF, Peclers Paris, DJ Bec and Warren Difranco. Temple is located at 540 Howard Street. To purchase tickets, please click here.
